Church of God (Seventh Day)

Harrisburg, Oregon  USA

To be used of God…

          To bring Him glory…

                    And to love Him forever!

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” (I Timothy 4:12)

Activities

Extracurricular activities for ages 13-18.

Get your bowling shoes on for a chance to beat the Youth Pastor! Or maybe a day of tubing on the snow runs? Movie night at the church?  Whatever it is, you’re sure to have fun with your friends when you come to one of our activities!

Bible Studies

Weekly Wednesday night studies throughout the fall - spring months.

Need a boost from your friends throughout the week? Come to our youth bible study and get recharged!

Mission Trip

Our annual service and ministry trip to the Yakama Indians.

On this summer  trip, we join several other churches, converging on Yakima Washington to participate in service and ministry projects to the Yakima Indian nation.

Night of Worship (NOW)

A night of praise led by our young adult team.

We love great singing, great devotions, and great food!  It all comes together at the NOW events, and sometimes it even comes with a gym night to wrap up a great night of learning, laughter, and fun.

Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Young Adults

Serving Jesus through the college years and beyond.

Graduating from the youth ministry doesn’t mean you’re done!  Many of our young adults now serve our church through leadership of the Children’s program, Youth mentors, running the Audio/Visual equipment during church services, involvement on the praise team, and more.  Their ministry to our congregation, and to the world, is indispensable!

Youth have energy. Jesus has ministry. Combine those two things together, and you have an army of young people who choose to believe that anything is possible with God!

Young adults want to change the world.  We’ll let you in on a secret - they can!  There’s nothing God cannot do with the heart and soul of a young person who sees a need and has a desire to fill it.  We encourage all young adults to find their place of service and the purpose to which God is calling them.
